Evil Eye Armour

The tradition of utilizing protection amulets originates from the understanding that energy and intention can be transmitted through the gaze of another. Someone’s projection onto us, our success, our joy, our wellness may inspire feelings of lack in another. Having our body and spirit protected from these projections can be done with intentions and likewise amulets such as the Evil Eye Armour.

The Evil Eye pendant is ancient symbol used for the purpose of warding off another’s “ayin hara” (Hebrew for Evil Eye). This tradition dates back to ancient Egypt’s Eye of Horus, used to defend those who intend harm. The blue evil eye symbol is a later adaptation found in archives of Phoenicians, Assyrians, Greeks, Romans and Ottoman.

Each Evil Eye Armour pendant is one of a kind, and individually made, hence each will have their own unique detailing. As always, each piece will of the best and highest quality.

Pendant size : 2 inches

Chain length 36 inches. Can be worn long and layered or doubled. 

Length is accurately measured by opening the necklace from clasp to loop, and a string can be used to approximate the resting spot. The Oval link Brass chain is tarnish-resistant brass parts, may require light polishing over time in order to maintain its luster; Silver Polishing Cloths are available in the shop.
