Specularite Hematite is a form of iron-rich Hematite known for its naturally reflective, almost mirror-like surface. Its distinctive sparkle comes from its platy, micaceous crystal structure, which catches and reflects light across the stone.

This one-of-a-kind Specularite Hematite Armour features a substantial freeform pendant measuring approximately 3.75 × 2.5 inches. Cut and polished to showcase the stone’s extraordinary reflective texture, its surface shifts between dark metallic depth and brilliant flashes of light as it moves.

The pendant is suspended from our XL oval link chain in natural brass, treated to be tarnish resistant. The bold scale of the chain balances the substantial stone, creating a true statement piece while allowing the natural texture and reflectivity of the Specularite Hematite to remain central.

Care & Wear

To preserve the reflective surface of the Specularite Hematite and finish of the brass, avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, and other cosmetics, and protect the stone from impact. Natural brass may develop a subtle patina over time and can be gently polished to restore its warmth and lustre.

Length is measured by opening the necklace from clasp to loop. Using a string against the body can help approximate where the piece will rest when worn.
