Canadian Labradorite Armour

Labradorite takes its name from Labrador, Canada, where it became known to European mineralogists in the 18th century. Today, Labradorite is found in several regions of the world, with variations in geological conditions producing different expressions of colour, intensity, and flash.

Known for its remarkable labradorescence, the stone can appear dark and understated until it catches the light, revealing luminous flashes of blue, green, gold, and other spectral colour from within. 

Metaphysically, Labradorite has been called the “Temple of the Stars” — a stone associated with intuition, transformation, expanded consciousness, and connection to purpose. It is often viewed as a bridge between the physical and intuitive realms, encouraging us to look beyond what is immediately visible and deepen our awareness of what lies beneath the surface.

Canadian Labradorite has become particularly difficult to source as historic quarrying in Labrador has ceased. We currently hold only a small batch of raw Canadian material, making the pieces created from it an increasingly rare part of the Ashera Armour collection.

This one-of-a-kind Canadian Labradorite Armour combines polished and unpolished surfaces, preserving the raw character of the stone while intentionally revealing some of its most distinctive and rare natural flashes. The pendant measures approximately 2 inches in height and is suspended from our 18K gold-plated stainless steel curb chain, which is hypoallergenic and tarnish resistant.

Care & Wear

Avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, and other cosmetics to preserve the stone and finish of the chain. Store separately when not in use.

Length is measured flat by opening the necklace from clasp to loop. Using a string against the body can help approximate where the piece will rest when worn.
